Color's Queer Bent

An investigation into the relationship between light/color and queerness. This project draws on a rich history of color used for queer communication, secret expression, and self-identification. CQB 1.0 investigated using colored light to enhance the queerness of an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. CQB 2.0 is a communal photography project using color filters to explore ways ways to combat the alienation of lockdown, by celebrating queer self-expression.
